    Hey Amber,
My friend Elizabeth Methvin shared your story with me. My sister’s nephew also has this disorder. He got it in August of 2008. He was welcomed home yesterday. You can visit his web sight http://www.caringbridge.org then search for Landon Light. He is 10 years old and lives in Heath Tx. He is doing better but still has a long way to go. He got a visit while in the hospital by an ex Dallas Cowboy player, Tim Grafferty. Tim also got this last year. He may have a web sight on this, I haven’t checked. Anyway I want you to know that you are in my prayers.

Hi, Amber! I’m excited to hear that you’re working with Dr. Kerr and his team at Johns Hopkins! I’ve never had that opportunity, but I’ve heard many great things about them. I hope it helps lift your spirits to know that you’re getting the best care possible.
Please let me know if I can ever be of any assistance.
    Take care,
    Andy
